New weekend, new skiing resot in Austria – this time we tried out Gaberl, which is the Lavanttaler Alps. This ski resort is on 1550 meters above sea level, it has 2 T-bar lifts and 4 or 5 slopes. But be careful – this resort is not suitable for beginners as the slopes are quite steep. But I have to say the quality of the slopes was amazing. The day started really good, we had a few good runs until an umployee told us to use just the second lift, as they need to do something on the first one. This is where our dream skiing day turned … more in the video 😉
They also have nice cross country slopes, winter hiking paths and a short sledding hill. Right now they also sell some warm food and drinks, but everythings is to go due to corona.
