If you follow our blog this winter, you probably already know, what we are doing on the weekends since we still can’t travel without a mandatory quarantine after returning to Austria. This weekend we went skiing to Petzen in Carinthia. The mountain is right on the border with Slovenia, I even had Slovenian mobile signal on top. The resort has a cable car, on top is a chair lift and a T-bar lift. Next to the parking lot is a baby lift and a slope for beginners. The contidions are amazing right now and it wasn’t crowded at all. The main draw of Petzen is the 7km long slope down the mountain, but currently it’s closed to avoid crowds at the cable car.
