This time we are taking you to some amazing but fairly unknown places in Albania, which proved to be real hidden gems. After leaving lake Ohrid and lake Prespa behind, we visited Korçë, a lovely UNESCO city with amazing food, nice night market and stunning main church, the painfully drove for more than 3,5 hours just to leave behind 132 km (now do the math and imagine the road 😀 ). We reached Permet, where we visited the local hot springs and an incredible und quite undiscovered canyon. Our next stop was Gjirokaster, a Unesco world heritage site (for good reason) and the last city was Berat, known as the city of 1000 windows and as well under Unesco.
