We had a short stopover in Vegas, so here are our tips how to make the most of it.
Store your luggage
If you don’t know where to put your luggage just go to any Vegas hotel, find the bell desk and ask for luggage storage. We used the Excalibur and it was very convenient.

Stick to the strip
The most famous thing about Vegas are the hotels. So if you want to see them stay on the strip. You can walk inside to any hotel and look around. Most of them also have shopping malls. Jure’s favourite were Luxor and Caesars Palace, I liked New York New York and Mandalay Bay.

Gamble
The reason why everyone comes to Las Vegas (besides getting married). Try your luck at a game of your choice, but set boundaries so you don’t leave Vegas broke.

Don’t miss the sign
Want a picture with the famous »Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas Nevada« sing? You can find it at the south end of the strip (just past Mandalay bay) – 10–15 min walking distance.

Prepare for your short visit
Before you arrive, decide what you want to see. Las Vegas offers a lot and it can easily happen that you forget something. Like we forgot to check out the famous fountains in front of the Belagio. Our bucket list was: Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand (with Hakasan), Paris, Belagio, Caesars Palace (with Omnia and the stunning shopping centre with amazing ceilings), the Venetian and its canals, Linq with the giant wheel.

If you have more time, go and see a show. Las Vegas truly is Disneyland for grown-ups and the entertainment centre of the world. This short visit was just a teaser as we can’t wait to go back and see a show or two and try our luck.
